Mrs. Hawthorne joined the company in June 2001. Terri has worked in
the construction industry for the past 25 years on both the sub-contractor and the general contractor level. She is fully in charge of all accounting aspects through financial statements for Ayala Boring Inc.
Katherine Brauer
Administrative Assistant
Ms. Brauer has been in construction for 31 years and with Ayala Boring
for 22. She served as Chapter President of the National Association of
Women in Construction (NAWIC) 1986-87 and continues as an active
member. She is the Notary Public for Ayala Boring Inc. and provides
clerical and administrative assistance for the company.

Mr. Ayala has been in the horizontal boring tunneling industry since
1965. After completing military service in the United States Air Force, he and his father founded Ayala Boring Inc. The company originally began as a partnership in 1971 and then incorporated in 1979. Ralph G. Ayala Jr. purchased his father's 50% interest in 1992 and since then is 100% owner. From January 1996 to January 1998 he was elected to serve as President of the Engineering Contractors' Assn. and served on the Board of Directors until 2006 for the association. In 1994 he was named Contractor of the Year by ECA. He is the qualifying officer of Ayala Boring Inc. for the state Contractor's License in the State of California, State of Nevada, and the State of Arizona. He is the General Managing Officer for Ayala Boring Inc. Mr. Ayala is a member of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Specialized Services Bureau and a member of the Disaster Assistance Team. |

Mr. Ayala started with the company in 1996 after completing active
military service in the United States Marine Corps. As Project Manager he schedules all projects, dispatching employees, equipment, and materials where needed. As Safety Manager he enforces safety training, holds safety meetings, and montors the testing and certifications required. He holds certifications for Drug & Alcohol Supervisor Training, Communicator Training, BNSF Safety Training, First Aid & CPR, Competent Person, 40 Hour HAZWOPER and Gas Tester. He has an Associate Degree in general education. |

Mr. Ayala started with the company in 2003 after completing both Active
and Reserve military service in the United States Marine Corps. He is in charge of coordinating all projects the company bids, equipment acquisition and purchasing. Mr. Ayala holds certifications in PSS (AchieveGlobal). 40 Hour HAZWHOPPER, First Aid & CPR., Gas Tester and Safety Rep of the Division of Occupational Safety and Health. Mr. Ayala is also a member of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Specialized Services Bureau. |

contractor the company is signatory to the International Union of Operating Engineers and the Southern California District Council of Laborers. The company is a 24-year member of the
